Lecture Theatres

The School has two dedicated lecture theatres with integrated AV facilities, and capable of seating over 200 people. They are regularly utilised for delivering lectures to undergraduate students, and seminars to industry colleagues.
The Chapman Lecture Theatre (room N151) is located on the first floor of the Engineering North building, while another theatre is in room S112 in the Engineering South building.

The School frequently hosts internal and external seminars, providing valuable opportunities to hear the latest developments in academic research. Its fully-equipped seminar rooms provide a comfortable and productive environment in which these events take place. The School also has several rooms available for committee meetings and tutorials.
Undergraduate Study Rooms

Room locations: S225, EM318

Quiet study rooms are available to assist students in getting the most out of their studies, and all undergraduate students throughout the Engineering Faculty have access to room S225 (Engineering South building).
4th year students of the School have exclusive access to their own study room (EM318, Engineering Maths building). This room has generous facilities and opening times, allowing them flexible access to quiet time for work on assignments and projects in their important final year.
